      Pros

      Great benefits, fellow co-workers are generally fun to work with, beautiful view

      Cons

      Property is falling apart, little money for repairs so employee compensation is not a priority, disguise growth and learning as an excuse not to pay experienced employees, pompous attitudes, interactions did not feel genuine, no communication, favoritism, heavy work load.

      Pros

      1) Pretty place in which to work. 2) Good perks when traveling and staying at other Ritz properties. 3) They feed employees. 4) It looks good on a resume. 5) Great opportunities to be promoted and move up or on to other properties if one so desires.

      Cons

      1) Poor management: Iago-esque middle managers and obtuse upper management. 2) Questionable behavior by employees on the job. 3) Management has a poor grasp of what constitutes a hostile work environment. 4) Really poor shift scheduling. 5) An air of union busting.

      Empowers employees, Professional in the highest sense, Classy, Establishes clear goals and objectives that are communicated from the general manager directly to all employees, pays well.

      Cons

      Hospitality in New Orleans does not sleep, being the best hotel in the world means you have to be your best at 2 a.m. its simply the nature of the industry though.
