Pros

Great benefits. Great culture and service philosophy.

Cons

Poor work/life balance. Managers are usually overworked and abused. Corporate and property owners are always trying to figure out how to demand more results while providing fewer resources. Opportunities for advancement are few and they are usually reserved for those who know how to play the political game or have a sponsor.

Pros

The company is constantly training employees in best practices and the employees are the best in the hospitality industry. You can always count on other departments to get things done and get them done right. There is some room for advancement. The pay can be higher than other hotels and bonus structure is good.

Cons

In order to move up, you often need to move to another property, which is usually in another city. Work-life balance is not the best. Minimum 10 hour days for managers with little flexibility for personal commitments. Lots of early mornings, late nights, and weekend work. Heavy work load for events and often very stressful. Lots of unnecessary paperwork.

Pros

great company benefits paid vacation traveling was easy with room rates.

Cons

I was with the company for 3 years.. everyday of the 3 years I was treated like a dog. even when I was pregnant. no respect what so ever for anyone. I finally left the company with a heavy heart but head held high.. if they didn't want you working there.. they found a way to get you out.. Dirty Dirty.
