Pros

Great company with great energy to move forward. Continuously train employees to provide top notch luxury service. They have a great team and provide great benefits to their ladies and gentlemen.

Cons

it was a little difficult for management to reprimand employees who were silently slackin while some picked up the slack. But it's a tough I understand.

Pros

It is a beautiful property and the insurance is very good. Also employee discounts and perks are good as well as a great employee cafeteria staff!

Cons

Not a great work/life balance. Some managers give you a hard time about taking time off. No real opportunity for advancement as an hourly, it is very political. Goals for bonuses are set just out of reach or manipulated so that they are unattainable. Everyone talks behind each others back including management. Always understaffed, managers are unhelpful or no where to be found. No accountability by supervisors who seem disinterested in actually doing their job. Many supervisors and management creating a hostile work environment but go unchecked by anyone.

Pros

Location and clientele will prepare you for many challenges. Great place to give you your first experience in luxury. Um, great coffee shop next door on 58th street (I'm trying here).

Cons

Very shady handling of all employee issues. Too many union side deals. No support. Very inexperienced upper management. Do not go to HR for anything. Cover up central. Also, operations management is severely understaffed yet killed regardless of occupancy. Just operations. Sales, finance, executive committee are juuuuuuust fine.
