Pros

Fun job, get to meet and work with a lot of people as well as connect with big name people. You will meet a lot of celebrities. Great tips in teh summer (died down as a result of the economy though)

Cons

Job gets boring after a while, same ole same ole. Random hours, hard to get a schedule you need. I was denied full time status and could not receive the benefits I wanted. Impossible to move up in the company to a management position.

Pros

The money is very good when you are working. There is an employee meal for all employees, some days it is better than other days.

Cons

The hotel is scaling back on all the services. They are closing the restaurants, club level and just the over all standards have dropped.

Pros

The hotel discounts are awesome! $50 rooms at Ritz-Carlton and even cheaper at Marriott. Very wonderful work environment in the spa at the beach resort. Friendly co-workers. High prestige customers.

Cons

Lousy food in the employee cafeteria Management overly critical and low on communication skills Sometimes snobby guests can be rude
