Management is horrible. Personal are scared to preform restraint

Whew, where do I start? The expectations of therapists extends way beyond their clinical scope. Therapists are expected to be babysitters, social workers, group facilitators, etc. One of the units would have 40+ patients and only 1-2 therapists to complete the work for every patients. There's no type of assistance, just piling on more work. Treatment team is solely focused on discharge planning, never progress or how can they actually help the patients. Most of the patients would be considered frequent fliers because they wouldn't even get any real treatment. It's sad how overworked and UNDERPAID the entire hospital is, and no one actually cares to provide genuine care to the patients.
