Pros
Riverbed provides excellent support to employees in a crisis whether during or off work hours. The company genuinely wants it's employees to be happy and grow in their careers. In general all my supervisors have been concerned about ensuring a proper work/life balance; when the balance got out of whack management was generally verbally supportive of repairing the balance.
Cons
While Riverbed wants its employees to grow and be happy the ways it does this are not generally things that I find important. There seems to be a general lack of concern for employee comfort (or discomfort). Money appears to be the all important driver for everything. While management was verbally supportive of address any work/life balance issues the actions taken to actually improve things was greatly lacking.
