Pros

Strong consultants and strong leadership, good pay

Cons

Can be difficult at times when the best consultants pull more than their fair share of the weight on engagements due to under-developed staff

Competitive comp and flexible

Pros

The culture at Riveron is great. At this point, it's still got the small company feel, which I prefer. So far, leadership has done a good job maintaining the small company feel throughout the exponential growth the company has experienced over the last couple of years. Base salary is competitive with Big 4 or slightly higher, and bonus targets at Riveron are much higher on average compared to Big 4. Depending on the team or project, work schedules and locations are generally pretty flexible.

Cons

PTO isn't great until you reach Senior Manager or Director and above. This should be adjusted to be more comparable to competitors. Benefits are just okay, and 401(k) match is very low.

Great Company Experiencing Growing Pains

Pros

- Compensation (salary & bonus) are competitive - Great culture, with an emphasis on regular office and firm-wide social gatherings - Good work/life balance

Cons

- PTO is lacking (everyone spoken to lost days in their move to Riveron) - Parental leave is lagging, especially for a supposedly forward-thinking firm. The current leave is reactive and slowly trying to catch up to an industry that makes leaps and bounds as more and more studies show a positive correlation between increased parental leave and employee happiness/retention. - Growth seems to be outpacing a support system for employees.

Thank you for your feedback. Riveron HR is always open to ways in which we can improve service to our employees. As Riveron continues to grow we will consistently evaluate ways in which we can expand our benefits. In recent months, we made significant updates to our Parental Leave policy to ensure we are competitive within the market, and the updates were well received by our employees. We work to maintain our focus on ways to better serve our clients and employees as we continue to grow, and we strive to provide competitive services and programs to our employees.
