Pros

Better than any sentara hospital. This health system really cares about its nurses. We get cash bonuses throughout the year, bonus for having a BSN yearly and upon hire, great tuition assistance with no hassle, paperwork, or loop holes.

Cons

There are no hospitals located near the ocean front or in Norfolk. Closest one is in Newport News.

Pros

At least you know you’ll get paid

Cons

The managers are out of control if they want you gone you’ll be gone. HR sides with managers even when they break policy. I really want to discourage people from working here. Know you’re disposable a co worker was diagnosed with cancer and said she was useless to them.
