Pros
A great place to stay for a while but don't plan on making a career here. Good work life balance especially when you have a good manager for this position. Great people to work with and made some good friends while working there. If you're going to college and want a job with computers, this is it but don't anticipate anything more than that. Breakfix manager is very flexible with a lot of challenges and will do their best.
Cons
Unfortunately, management was not given enough control from their higher ups to even give us the basic controls for a decent work environment. A large majority of cons will come from a ripple effect from the higher ups pushing overbearing work standards while insisting on not improving the bare minimum essentials needed for these tasks. Requesting a meeting for deserved raises, unpaid time off for weather emergencies and even just new chairs was met with no's due to the company "penny pinching". Raises are not performance based, everyone is given one raise a year for now. I've seen countless great workers leave because they weren't able to obtain a higher rate of pay. There is no incentive to seniority, you will be paid as much as a 5+ year person which is unfortunately the base pay. Only way to "earn" at raise is with certificates that takes months to learn at times and will only grant you a dollar raise. The only way to advance in this company is with connections and networking with higher ups, not through hard work. No vacation time, sick time or earned time off, This company can be better but doesn't want to be because it will cost them more and that's the impression I left with.
