Outstanding teamwork, support, dedication by our Management and commitment to the number 1 focus, the patient. None of that would be possible without having all of our needs met first! RUHS makes you feel like you are valued, (we are,) we are supported, (we are,) and we are a team. (we are. )

Cons

Covid made many RNs leave for more money. That left us all short, left to provide the same quality of care, with or without a resource RN. It isnt always easy, but we chose a career that not all are willing to do. Imagine the goals we can accomplish together when we dedicate and commit to build a team.

Pros

Many opportunities to learn and get great supervision. Supervision on county time. Opportunities to work for multiple programs and get a variety of experience. The people who work there tend to love what they do and care about the consumers they serve.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of work put in. Low incentive to stay w/ RUHS once you become a licensed therapist. They are working on incentives, but there are currently better opportunities elsewhere.
