Cons

CYA,CYA,CYA...you to be very careful not to step on the charge nurse toes cause once you do it's hard to come back from it !!!! So once again CYA!!

Pros

Good, good people working the front lines. Good programs in place, and good delivery of care. Lots of good work in rebuilding basic infrastructure: new EHR (Epic), new phone lines, new Intranet.

Cons

Leadership needs to learn to communicate with the line staff and management more transparently. Too many layers of bureaucracy. No clear strategic plan for growing the business or bringing in more revenue.

Cons

Management was undergoing a lot of changes when I left and things were very chaotic. The pay was lower than most counties in Southern California, in my opinion
