Pros

Remote-Friendly: One of the things I truly appreciate about my company is its remote-friendly approach. They understand the importance of work-life balance and provide the flexibility to work from home, which has been a tremendous support for me and my colleagues. Supportive Environment: The company fosters a culture of support and camaraderie. From the leadership to fellow team members, there is always a helping hand and an open ear to lend support, making the workplace feel like a true community. Competitive Compensation: I am grateful that my company offers a competitive salary package. It demonstrates their commitment to valuing and rewarding their employees for their hard work and dedication. Exciting Projects: The diversity and complexity of the projects I get to work on are truly exciting. They challenge me to grow professionally and creatively, providing a stimulating environment for personal development.

Cons

Managerial Challenges: Like any organization, we do encounter some challenges with certain managers. I believe that open communication and empathy can help address any issues and foster better working relationships. Complex Team Structure: The team structure can sometimes be intricate, making it challenging to navigate. Simplifying the organization could improve collaboration and streamline processes, allowing us to work together even more seamlessly. Job Security Concerns: I understand that the company operates in a dynamic environment, but occasional concerns about job security can cause some unease. I hope for transparent communication about changes and decisions to help alleviate these worries.

Dear colleague, Thank you for sharing your Riverty experience. Thank you for your detailed and insightful review. We're heartened to hear about the positive experiences you’ve had with Riverty, particularly in regards to our remote-friendly policies and the supportive work environment. With our rebranding in October 2022, we took the initiative to invest in a more user-friendly intranet communication platform. Our aim is to constantly evolve and provide transparent and relevant internal communication for everyone at Riverty. With our recent LEAD leadership development program initiative we equip all senior leaders with the skills to navigate the teams through uncertainties and ensure Riverty's success. Your feedback on managerial challenges, team structure, and job security concerns is crucial. We’ll reflect on these points and aim for continued improvements in these areas. Best regards, Martin Employer Branding

Pros

Work from home option is good

Cons

* Promotions are only given to Caucasians, not for your talent you will get a double promotion for that. It isn't very comfortable to see that it is done very openly. * If you're a brown or black person I wouldn't recommend Tallinn office * Poor and old technologies

Dear Software Engineer in Tallinn, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your contributions over the past 3-4 years at Riverty. We appreciate your honesty and take your concerns very seriously. First and foremost, we want to be clear: discrimination in any form has no place at Riverty. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where career progression is based on talent, performance, and contribution—not on ethnicity or any other unrelated factor. If you or anyone else has experienced unfair treatment, we strongly encourage reporting it through our internal ethics hotline so that it can be properly investigated. At Riverty, we have our People Growth Cycle and Career Framework, which is our structured framework designed to enable fair and equal career progression for all employees. This includes goal setting, regular performance reviews, and follow-ups throughout the year to ensure that career development is transparent and based on merit. We are continuously working to refine and improve this process so that every employee has the opportunity to grow and advance within the company. Your feedback regarding outdated technologies is also noted. We recognize the importance of investing in modern tools and frameworks, and we are continuously working to enhance our tech stack to support innovation and efficiency. Creating a truly inclusive workplace means ensuring equal opportunities for all, and we appreciate you holding us accountable. If you are open to discussing your experience further, we encourage you to reach out to HR or leadership—we want to listen, learn, and improve. Thank you again for your candid insights. We value your time at Riverty and will continue working towards a fair and supportive environment for all employees. Best regards, Martin
