      Pros

      In the beginning, it was incredible. Rivian took care of its employees - food, office, pay - everything was exceptional. They had a strong culture and lived by core values for a short while.

      Cons

      Select individuals seemed to be exempt from the core values. The fight for power and ownership of things was not good, especially on product and data engineering. They lacked a strong Project Management Office. Rivian over hired in every department and caused chaos between the business, data and product teams. Everyone was stepping on each others toes.

      Pros

      Competitive pay, ability to learn many things very quickly.

      Cons

      Toxic culture. "Unlimited vacation" is a joke. I was not allowed to take a week off and had to work from home but other coworkers could take weeks. Got degraded by young manager but only when it was the two of us in a room. Team expected me to work 12+ hour days regularly, and did not treat people fairly. Do not recommend working in the factory.
