Pros

Excellent company culture. I completely trust the leadership team and get along well with all coworkers. Lots to learn and very little micro-management by superiors.

Cons

Standards are very high and the workload is immense. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but something to consider as a prospective applicant. This is NOT and old-school, slow, bureaucratic, legacy auto maker. Rivian, much like Tesla, moves quickly and requires employees to be flexible, patient, and intelligent. This is NOT a company to "rest and vest".

Pros

I get to work with a highly talented group of people on a daily basis., the products we design and build are truly inspiring, and we have a opportunity to make a positive change towards sustainable transportation.

Cons

A lot of the people complain about the constant amount of change or the amount of stress involved in executing on time. Building a new company from the ground up is hard and should be enjoyed.
