The work was never too demanding or stressful. There were periods of crunch time, but the management was very supportive and would advocate that we would need more time for a project to the client if needed. All of my coworkers were very nice and professional. I felt very welcomed to this little family when I first started. The company this was before the acquisition was women owned and much of leadership positions were held by women which was really nice to see in an especially male dominated industry.

Cons

The transition to a corporate entity during the pandemic was pretty tough on the staff. Firstly, almost everyone's position was entirely computer based, but we still had to come into the office instead of working remote. Second, some very good and hardworking people were eventuality cut due to the acquisition. I wouldn't say the work I did was hard, but it did require some experience with AutoCAD so this position is definitely worth more than just minimum wage.
