Pros

If you want to learn how to be deceitful join here.

Cons

Culture is toxic - constant voice notes sent around instead of training. Lack of proper on boarding - given an out of date list but 'every call is an opportunity' Lack of middle if any management, Everyone needs to bill so no one to learn from. Poor commission structure - not competitive despite what they tell you. the overall environment is not conducive to long-term success Sell you the dream but in reality they’re just the same as any other recruitment. Focusing on sales metrics quantity rather than checking the quality. I felt chained to the desk in a 1980's style recruitment firm who pay poorly and speak poorly of people when they leave. Unprofessional environment, wouldn't wish it on my worst nightmare. Directors infighting, very toxic.

Pros

Opportunity to gain full-desk recruiting experience if you're self-driven Some tools and tech access are solid (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) You can succeed here if you're very independent and learn quickly

Cons

There’s a major discrepancy in how in-office requirements are enforced across practice groups at Robert Half. While some teams come in once or twice per week — or less — some groups (locations) are held to a much stricter standard, including extra required days during the first week of each month. The frustrating part isn’t just the in-office time itself, but the fact that there’s no clear explanation for why one group is treated differently, especially when all the work is done on laptops and calls. If collaboration were truly the reason, you’d expect consistency across all teams. But that’s not what’s happening — and it’s demoralizing to see such an uneven playing field when you’re producing and still being micromanaged. If you value flexibility or equal treatment, just go in with eyes open. The rules don’t apply the same to everyone here.
