Pros

I've met with some of the coolest companies in NYC. That's about it.

Cons

Robert Half would be a great place to work if I never had to deal with any of my co-workers. The problem with RHI is that it breeds back stabbing. In fact, upper management wants you to step on each other to better yourself. This isn't a team environment, despite what they might say, this is all about you. You'll go out and meet with one of the hottest companies and get an amazing job order. You'll come back to the office and your teammate will come up to you, pretend to be happy, and try and steal your client right under your nose. This behavior is applauded. Guidance from management is non-existence. They expect you to learn is all on your own and they get frustrated when you don't know it all in 3 months (which happens to be the window of time you'll have to be an expert before they cut you loose).

Pros

Honestly.. After being there for a couple of years it's hard to remember what the pros are that kept me there. As Sales Support we all know that everything we do is very important. If you work for a good team, as i did, you will be appreciated and hear "thank you" every once in a while. The team i supported kept me a float. They were what kept me there along with a paycheck.

Cons

Ethics, morals, respect... where do I begin. As a hard working employee you don't receive any type of recognition from the company. Between compensation to the amount you have to pay in benefits. Years after being there I only received one professional review along with NO increase in pay. I was "lucky" to recieve a holiday bonus of lets say under $200 totaling over 4 years. That's not with taxes taken out. Management is completely unprofessional at timYour business is talked about on the floor or on "smoke breaks" that were taken once an hour for about 15 minutes at a time each hour of the work day. If you have an issue of some sort, you have NO ONE to talk to about those issues. You think that you've taken the proper steps to resolve an issue and nothing is done about it. They tend to take all important issues with employees and "sweep them under the rug". When you don't make money for the company, don't expect anything in return, As hard of a worker that you are, you will never be appreciated there. You're looked at as a number and very replaceable. There are plenty of companies out there that are more respectful of their employees, and make you feel you are worth the hard work you put in.
