Pros

Students tend to be fairly engaged, you are in charge of your own classroom, great feedback from supervisors when you're observed.

Cons

same downsides of adjuncting anywhere: hard to feel like part of the campus community, not having benefits sucks, seeing more adjuncts hired when people could be ungraded to full-time instead.

Pros

There were so many cons, I can't think of any pros.

Cons

There is a TOTAL lack of communication at this College and this place is going downhill FAST. It's also turning into a technical college. It's almost as if each building runs its own agenda. (This is NOT good for the students). Disappointed, because I was VERY excited about this job. I just wish the excitement had lasted. Run. Oh, and the pay was horrible.
