Pros

The environment is fast paced, but friendly. You will immediately have a large amount of responsibility and will immediately become the expert of your field. The projects are exciting and rival those of NASA (Mars, Venus, etc.).

Cons

The IT system is a little clunky, and personnel are friendly, but clearly overwhelmed. HR are great people, but they are also trying to find their way and can be a little frustrating to work with.

Pros

- Because it's a small company, you have the ability to directly impact direction - RL feels like we are at a point that SpaceX was at 5-10 years ago so there's a huge potential for growth here. - Restricted Stock Units make up for the lower salary, however, if you make it 4 years it's more than worth it and you come out ahead.

Cons

- PTO is way below average for the industry - Basic PPO Medical has a $4500 deductible so it's near ineffective unless there's a major health issue. - Interviewing process took 4 months - Don't only build out for what's needed today, think about what you will need the following year to avoid having to redo everything with upgrades. Basically try to avoid knowing rework in the future since that costs time and money.

Pros

Cool looking logo. Nice SWAG.

Cons

Read the review title. These aren't my words, they are Peter Beck's when asked about employee burn out during a visit to Tucson. Come to Rocket Lab Tucson if you are repelled by the concepts of: work/life balance, compensated overtime, fair and understanding leadership with listening skills, or any sort of customer focus.
