Pros

Fun place to work. Surrounded by smart people who are creative and not robotic. Employees take pride in their work and the improvements in the company month to month are evident. Within Supply Chain, the team has grown significantly and is a major driver in the business. There is a lot of opportunity for personal growth. Work-life balance isn't as bad as similar companies, but there is still an expectation to hustle when it's time to hustle. It's close to several options for lunch and a lot of people get along.

Cons

Leadership does a poor job of publicly recognizing employees who go above and beyond. Peers rarely have much insight into each others wins. The organizational meetings are infrequent which causes things to feel disaggregated. Most of the leadership has joined in 2024 which is a blessing and a curse. Individual contributors have become very used to large amounts of constructive/negative feedback and very little positive feedback.

Pros

1. Exciting Industry and Opportunity for Growth – Working in the aerospace industry provides unique and challenging opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects. 2. Openness to New Challenges – The company provides opportunities to take on high-priority tasks, sometimes outside your core expertise, which can lead to valuable learning experiences. 3. Startup Environment – As a growing company, there’s potential for employees to have a significant impact and take on meaningful responsibilities in a dynamic environment. 4. Flexibility in Task Management – You often have the autonomy to prioritize tasks and manage your daily responsibilities without excessive micromanagement. 5. Global Presence – Working with teams across the globe, particularly with the New Zealand office, offers a chance for international collaboration and exposure to different ways of working.

Cons

1. Lack of Structure – The absence of clear goals and task prioritization can lead to a reactive work environment where you’re constantly putting out fires rather than working strategically. 2. Poor Onboarding Process – The onboarding experience is disorganized, with little guidance on processes, which can make the first few months challenging and frustrating. 3. Inconsistent Communication – Communication within teams and between locations is often delayed or incomplete, leading to confusion and inefficiencies. 4. Limited Managerial Support – leadership is often absent, leaving employees to advocate for themselves and tackle complex problems without sufficient support. 5. High Potential for Burnout – The lack of structure and support can result in frustration and burnout, which could lead to talented employees leaving the company.
