Pros

If you want to work with the best of the best in tech, then Rocket Lab is the place to be. Not only is it incredibly innovative, but it is a ton of fun and pretty cool to know the projects you are working on are making a real difference and shaping the future. The team is super supportive and the culture is one of innovation and action. Missions patches, on site chef, sweet merch and just knowing you work for the coolest company out there are all also big positives.

Cons

If you want to work in a role where its cruisy and you're a cog in the wheel, Rocket Lab is not the place for you. You need to be on your A-game and be ready to deliver every day

Pros

Exciting, stimulating work. Friendly, helpful colleagues. If you work hard and have a good attitude you can climb the internal ranks quickly. Responded really well to coronavirus - when lockdown was announced, many of my friends in other companies were immediately made redundant or put on leave without pay and left in the dark, but Rocket Lab communicated with us clearly and regularly and looked after us really well.

Cons

It's a lot of hours but you can't have the kind of success Rocket Lab has had without that. Wouldn't recommend if you're a 9-5 on the dot kind of person, you need to be passionate about space and willing to do what it takes to get things over the line.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback, we are stoked to hear you are enjoying your time with us at Rocket Lab. We do agree that hard work and a great attitude is something we value and reward here. We worked very hard over Covid-19 to ensure the team was well informed and felt included, this was especially important to us in a time of such uncertainty. We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate openly with our staff, which includes sharing the good and sometimes not so good news. We know some of our new managers are learning to be leaders and we want to support and encourage them as much as we can and are currently in the process of creating our own leadership program. Thanks again for your feedback, we look forward to growing with you in the months and years to come! -Rocket Lab People and Culture
