Pros
The mission of the company is extremely noble: democratizing access to legal services to individuals, families and small businesses. In addition, there is a very good balance of passion for the company's success and respect for employee personal time. This is a software company that is trying to change the legal industry from the ground up. The atmosphere is fun because the leadership is passionate about the mission and there is a great deal of transparency around the product (everyone is invited to product reviews). While people are encouraged to work hard, there is a healthy respect for weekends and vacation time (unlimited PTO policy). As long as you are a contributor with a positive attitude, managers understand that you have a life outside of your work.
Cons
The offices are typical for a software company (open modular desks) ; - nothing too flashy. Benefits are being overhauled right now, so we will wait and see.
