      The saving grace is their technology and science

      Cons

      There is a lack of leadership and direction. One executive makes all the decisions without integrating the overall strategy or impact of the people. The only way to survive there is if you are willing to undercut your colleagues.

      Pros

      You will learn what not to do starting up a small biotech.

      Cons

      Very long hours expected, nights weekends, long days in the office. Family, hobbies, health, sleep, all of these are considered secondary to your job at Rocket, and they will remind you frequently.

      Pros

      Great opportunity to get involved in AAV. Start up environment. Direct bosses seem good and knowledgeable. Life changing medicine with a growing pipeline to come.

      Cons

      They really don’t pay enough, at least in the lower levels. Not sure about senior leadership. Their benefits suck as well. Just because its free to the employees does not mean they are great. Also the long and tedious lame trainings are overkill and a waste of time. Also, we must do status reports of what we are doing. What is this Elementary School? Get with the times.
