The hours were terrible. $24K as a base salary was insulting. Many of the people in key sales and sales leadership roles were uneducated. We were regularly forced to stay for hours and hours "working the phones." Leaving at 7:30 for a shift that ended at 6 shouldn't get you called "part time" by your Sales Director. I was a good performer and could have done the job in 25 hours a week. The extra hours, lack of lunch breaks and demeaning nature of the sales director drove me away. Results should matter more than hours. To some people, being successful meant making $80K and getting to go home and spend time with their wife instead of making $120K. Quicken probably would be a great place to work in a non-sales capacity and I would certainly consider returning, but if you are interested in sales, stay away.
