Pros

Quicken Loans is a company that tries to provide their employees with every benefit. It is great for younger people who don't mind constant change without any reasonable thought behind it. It's much too chaotic for people who are used to a little common sense. The good thing is that they truly encourage innovation at every level. The bad with that is that they do it at the cost of getting approved work completed.

Cons

There are just too many things going on at one time for any of it to be done correctly. I really have no confidence in most of the senior management. For a company that tries to say that there is no corporate politics there is a lot of backstabbing, double talk, and ladder climbing going on. The environment feels like something that you would see in an elementary school. In my tenure there, I don't ever feel that the extremely long hours were ever properly appreciated or rewarded.

Pros

Quicken Loans does a wonderful job at training their employees and they offer wonderful benefits. They are good about hiring friendly and outgoing employees which makes the work day much more bearable. The company pushes you to have a lot of goals in turn allows you to achieve or endure things you never thought you could.

Cons

You will have absolutely NO life outside of work. When you are not at work, they expect you to be available 24/7 to clients or want you to go on some team building exercise. While I think team bonding is important, I would rather spend the little free time that I do have with my family and friends. If you are not a top producer, there is no way you will make the money that they claim. In order to hit top tier, you have to sell like you have no soul or basically sleep at work. They will also claim that you only have to work one Saturday a weekend when you are hired but will make you work whenever they please. If you are not willing to work this "voluntary day" you will be ostracized about not being a team player. I was forced to work Sunday because they thought production would be better. They give the perception that they care about their employees but completely disregard any and all of your "free time".
