High workload = High stress

Pros

- Majority of the people - Employee Resource Groups - Forced to be tough and think on your toes - Various company socials (several bars onsite) - Constantly being pushed to perform - Ability to work from home

Cons

- High stress environment - Folks thinking they have to back-stab to get ahead - Not being recognized appropriately enough or in the right manner - Poor work/life balance (unspoken rule: should always be available & often logged in) - Petty drama can take place and is annoying when there is so much to get done

Low morale

Pros

- Looks good on a resume - Experience

Cons

- Pay is much lower than industry standard - Average raise will be in the 1-2.5% range (if at all) - Serious complaints are ignored (harassment, sexual harassment, violence) - HR treats people like criminals - If you are an hourly employee you will have no chance of advancement - Low low low morale. Everyone dreads coming to work each day - Touts being one of the worlds most ethical companies by suppressing complaints about ethics and firing people who complain - Overtime almost every weekend

Pros

Unknown. I never got in the door.

Cons

I was looking to get a job at Rockwell. I applied for a position only to get a no thank you email 2 days later. OK Fine. They reposted the job a month later, so I applied again. This time they called. Had a great phone interview, then nothing. Silence. I call & email, but no response at the Mequon facility. Finally they pick up the phone, but have no answers. I wait a week & try again. More silence. Finally I get through 2weeks later. They say they have moved on to other candidates. Well how am I supposed to know that? Just terrible practices & treating people horribly. I hope HR reads this and says something to the Mequon Rockwell recruiter. They need to feel what it's like on the other side.
