Inexperienced junior or intermediate-level architects are Project Managers due to necessity, teams are either vastly under- or overstaffed, studio leaders are gone 2-3 weeks out of the month, projects are enormous and clients are almost always multi-headed corporate monsters, client's budgets bust after Concept and Schematic phase so projects don't get built, our salaries are paid by add services, copying and knocking-off well-known designer's furniture and lighting is encouraged to complete scope quickly
