Pros
Campus is beautiful and if you're lucky enough you might be able to work in a good department.
Cons
Unions everywhere protecting the dead weight. Instead of rewarding employees with strong records, we are pitted against people who have worked here for 20+ years and have sucked this place dry - free tuition for themselves and their kids, benefits, hierarchy (or perceived hierarchy). If you expect people to clock in then call people out who cheat the system or abuse the benefits. The administration is a lot highly paid people, but it's not addressing the falling retention rate, are they taking a salary cut to help eliminate the deficit, or the lack of wages/raises for other employees. There were a lot of people who's positions were "eliminated" by the end of the academic year this summer and then new positions were created for vice presidents or vice provosts. Lots of RWU alumni working here which doesn't do much for diverse environment. A lot of old time professors who don't meet the needs of the new student
