Pros

Free popcorn and cookies everyday. Got a call from GM after I was wrongfully fired and was told it was a mistake and he was sorry and that I could come back anytime. It really was a nice gesture and I made me feel better about how horribly I was treated.

Cons

I don't even know where to begin. This place wore me down so bad, so fast. High stress, high tension for absolutely no reason other than power trips from management. Harassment (and I hate when people throw that word around because they just aren't getting their way.) I mean, legit harassment and NOTHING would ever be done because managers are all friends. Pay is horrible for the hours you're putting in and the stuff your putting up with. My job was customer service and retention. Sales and finance would lie and cheat to get a sale, infuriate the customer that had already been there for at least 5 hours, never rectify their mistakes and then blame me when I couldn't get customers to give us 5 stars on our reviews. Service was just as bad if not worse. Then in meetings with Bob Rohrman, I was told by management never to "throw any of the other managers under the bus in front of Rohrman. Riggghhhhhttttttttttt, so I'm supposed to let you guys run this location into the ground with your shiesty sales tactics and then cover for you after you harass me everyday. Got it. Bob Rohrman is, in the nicest way I can put it, a racist, chauvinistic pig who doesn't care about ANYTHING other than his bank account. He went on a 10 minute rant about Mexicans at our company Christmas party and ended up calling a new Latina employee Maria after he asked her to stand up. Her name wasn't Maria. Managers(me) had $50 taken out of their check at Christmas time for a gift for Bob Rohrman. You know, the millionaire. I was told I HAD TO. He got a new suit with $50 bills stuffed into all of the pockets. We got a tin of popcorn and a fruit basket in return as our company gift. Avoid this company like the plague. Bob Rohrman is horrible and so is his company.

Pros

THE FACILITIES ARE NICE ENOUGH.

Cons

Insane requirements to hold profit in new car dept, REQUIRED to keep a 1200 front end gross over pack(yes its 2014) 1300 F+I, and 1800 used. These are required, even better yet, no checks and balances on used car appraisals, if the New Car dept can't get to the 1200 a copy, then they just throw it in the trade,if 0% is offered by the manufacturer, the staff is instructed to tell them its not available, really? one(I'm sure there are more than one in the same situation) of their stores in Schaumburg has over 90 cars at 250 days old and probably $600,000 in water. They're answer is the quarterly write down. This group has a total 1970-80's mentality, which if you look at the yelp reviews customers leave, it is totally evident and true. Why not be like 99% of the other stores, take your best deal, make the customer happy, try to make it up in F+I, and make a customer for service retention and referral. Bob Rohrman is in his 80's, unfortunately his mind still thinks its 1970-80, he'll never change his ways. Bottom line, if you are ethical, have integrity, and have a good reputation in the industry, I would recommend you look elsewhere for fruitful employment, plus any owner of a group who opens his stores on December 24th is as greedy as they come, the damage that working on Christmas Eve does to the moral of a staff, isn't worth the very few cars that will be sold. Huge turnover in management, 14 GM's in 2 years at one store, that says it all right there.

Pros

what pros there aren't any.

Cons

Very deceitful, pathological lying, hostile, deceptive, abusive, harassment, belligerent young cheap laborers in the office are abusive incompetent office girl laborers they argue with the workers many wokers quit because the office laborers are volatile with the workers. Management is abusive, lies, might be money laundering, fail to see the truth, they are hostile and are abusive to workers. They have tons of complaints from customers they don't even acknowledge the customers complaints about the management and laborers. Rohrman dealerships are very dishonest. They have tons of complaints. Tried to work, suffered and struggled there being abused and they don't vouch for their employees. People who tried to work they treated terribly. Don't buy from them either especially the used cars. Really suffered a lot of abuse there, had gone through a lot of suffering from that dealership. Very hostile and frightening.
