Only good if you're an attorney

Pros

Low turnover, good trainings, good place for exposure to law

Cons

Staff are held to very strict standards and are often reminded they are less than the attorneys. If you are not an attorney there is a ceiling as to how high you can rise in the company and how much respect you'll get. It is very hierarchical and non-attorneys will constantly see reminders that they are not valued. Also be ready to constantly feel as if you need to go out and get a JD to do non-legal work.

Pros

Attorneys are very nice to work with.

HR needs an overhaul. Stop hiring lawyers to do business jobs.
