Pros

Better work-life balance than most big law firms. Most partners are very willing to put on the "teacher hat" and take the time to explain things to associates.

Cons

Your future depends on which partner(s) you end up working the most for. If you end up spending most of your time with a partner that isn't as well regarded at the firm, you will end up getting dinged.

Pros

Office is in the Prudential, so if your commute gets you there easily then it's a nice location to work in. The benefits are decent, there is free coffee and a cafe on the 49th floor.

Cons

IT management lacking, business stakeholders (lawyers) not always engaged in projects and improvements, IT projects involve constant change and projects are not always completed
