Roquette has so many assets and absolutely no idea what to do with them.

Pros

Roquette hires some truly brilliant people. The opportunity to learn and build your Rolodex is there. Benefits are decent.

Cons

French 'management' has run RAI into the ground. Unrealistic targets are set without any plan on how to reach them. The plant hasn't been maintained so production suffers. Logistics is a sorry joke. Arrogance and information hoarding is rewarded. Backstabbing is rampant.

Great 401K and very smart coworkers

Cons

Used to be a great place to work. Recent layoffs, management sucks, decisions are made by long time employees without business knowledge solely based on feelings. No loyalty, a lot of back stabbing for personal gain, no real team commitment, the employees try to gain recognition with upper management and will stab you in the back in the blink of an eye. No leadership, systems are ancient, management have DO NOT people skills it just really suck.

Pros

Opportunities to learn, take on responsibility, interesting projects. Great pay, good benefits though heath insurance was a little high. 401k matching excellent.

Cons

Senior management is over their head. Too many levels of management. Too many initiatives and places of focus to perform efficiently. Slow decision making. Lack of realistic long term planning. Unsustainable situation. Recent layoffs eliminated lots of workers, no middle management and didn't appear to streamline operations.
