Pros

Roth Staffing provides a wonderful platform for success... a company can't make you successful; they can only offer a positive work culture, tools for growth, recognition for achievement, encouragement & guidance on how to improve, and the equipment to do your job well. Roth provides all these things, and is constantly asking for feedback on how to improve our Coworker experience, which is rare & appreciated. I've been with Roth Staffing for several years in the Legal Division (Adams & Martin Group) and for me, the grass is much greener at Roth than my prior company; I've never looked back for several reasons... an ethical business practice, caring/happy employees, fantastic benefits, true work/life balance, and overall an enjoyable place to succeed & grow professionally. Most of my colleagues agree - there's a reason that experienced staffing professionals choose to leave their companies, join Roth Staffing, and stay here. A manager/team can make all the difference in this business, and I can honestly say that I work for the best manager in the company, Kristy Carbajal (VP of Adams & Martin Group). She has been here for nearly 10 years and runs our division like a well-oiled machine. She's caring, honest, straightforward, and just aggressive enough to get stuff done. Especially with a privately-owned family-run company, you have to LOVE who you work for... the Roth family is very present in our business, and the majority of employees are extremely grateful for the opportunity they provide & the culture they live and breathe. They make strong business decisions, and they are well-respected among the offices I've interacted with. For as large as our company is, it still feels like a family-run organization. Ben & Adam Roth hold quarterly company-wide Town Hall meetings to inform every coworker of current & future happenings - I feel they're very engaged. I've worked for multiple large organizations in the past and the "higher ups" are way more tangible here than other companies, in my opinion. Roth is also very open about their employee's career paths - they hire motivated people, some of which have the desire to move within the company. There are more promotions/transfers here than I've seen at any other company. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with my employment at Roth Staffing and have recommended multiple friends/former colleagues for employment... some of which have gotten hired & are still happily employed as well. I can see a clear future with this company and have every intention of continuing a successful career here.

Cons

Roth is constantly asking for feedback via internal surveys, and quarterly employee-led reviews... our database technology could definitely use improvement, but it sounds like the voices have been heard & changes are coming.

Pros

No pros for this place, this was one of the worst com companies I have ever worked for. No direction from upper management.

Cons

Quite a few, no direction from upper management. They are quick to get you in the door by promises they never keep. Not sure how they have the title of best places to work. They have had almost 100% turn over year after year. No one stays with this company. Their recruiting and sales practices are outdated with a by any means necessary closing approach. Small set of clients with little in the way of making commissions. Look at their track record before signing on that dotted line. The glowing reviews are from the company not actual employees.

We are truly disappointed that this has been your experience at Roth Staffing. Our company strives to provide very clear pathways for success and communicates in abundance to all coworkers via Town Hall meetings, webinars, weekly news documents, interoffice letters via FedEx, daily news-pop up screens, and emails to ALL coworkers. Feedback like yours will only spark our efforts to be even more communicative. Our turnover is certainly not 100%, in fact, our turnover is much lower than the industry average. We will take a deep look for any branches that have recently experienced above average turnover in the past year to uncover where this perception might exist. Thank you for your criticism ... it only motivates us to be try even harder to create a great workplace. When we receive national recognition for being a Best Place to Work, it is solely based on the anonymous feedback from the people who work at our company and our leadership has no involvement in who outside organizations choose to honor. It is a humbling honor and something that actually raises the bar forcing us to be an even better employer tomorrow than we are today.

We really appreciate your feedback and are so glad that there are many things that make you proud of your company. The senior leadership team spent several weeks trying to find a way that the Flex schedule could be rolled out to every single role in the organization. Plans have been approved to offer it to more job categories in the company this year, but roles like branch manager and corporate coworker are still a challenge. We actually brought the issue directly to a panel of branch managers and asked them to help create a plan. The group overwhelmingly felt that being available to their teams was more important than figuring out a way to take every other Friday off. Although the issue is still on the table, the majority of branch/practice managers have requested that it not be made available to managers quite yet. We promise to keep looking for new ways to create life balance for all roles at Roth!
