Company values and culture. Support good causes and always roll out new initiative for non-profits.

Staffing industry is tough but low compensation and Micromanagement doesn't help. Unrealistic goals and expectations.

Roth Staffing Response

As mentioned in the title of your review, we certainly celebrate the fact that several outside entities have honored our company with prestigious recognition, but awards are merely the by-product of a wonderful group of people who are passionate about what they do. We endeavor to put our coworkers first and foremost. We never like to hear that a former coworker had issues with their manager. We know that a manager can make or break an experience for a coworker. The coworker engagement survey gives us valuable insight into which teams are struggling with coworker satisfaction and we strive to make real changes that will make life better for the people who work here. You are correct in that the Staffing Industry is tough, but it is also rewarding. Thank you for your candid feedback...we promise to continuing listening intently to our coworkers.

Pros

Great base salaries, un-matched industry bonus plan, un-heard of 9/80 Flex schedule for great work/life balance, excellent benefits, award winning company and Sr. Leadership that really, genuinely cares about our co-workers and employees. Great perks such as Roth points, having your name drawn for a TV , IPAD or gift card. 4 RAD days are given to managers for rest and relaxation, one on your birthday, one on your anniversary and two floating days following a holiday. You can use them and not be charged a vacation day for taking the day off. On your 10 year anniversary, the company pays for 2 plane tickets anywhere that you want to go and gives you 5 FREE extra vacation days in celebration of your 10 year anniversary with them! In addition to the extra perks, it is a fun place to work and you have the ability to make a lot of money for your hard work and sales & recruiting efforts. Our company has so many GREAT people that work here; there is something to be said for hiring only the industry's top talent!

Cons

The branch team members are overwhelmed at times with the many moving parts of working a Flex desk role and keeping a branch operating and compliant. When a coworker takes vacation or is out sick, expecting the team to make up the missing team-members PAR requirements is not only stressful, but many times impossible to achieve. If a team member is out sick or on vacation, it should be ok for the team not to hit the "team goal" for the week, as long as they are hitting their own personal goal.
