Pros

Nice people out of the corporate office but the corporate office is on the west coast

Cons

The management is a mess they do not do there job or promote anyone they are so unprofessional and thats why the company will never be as big as a robert half or ranstad. They underpay people. They lie to you when interviewing be aware i was told a completely different scenario than what i walked into day one. Benefits/comp are awful, They claim they reimburse you for gas and millage they screw you on that too. Work/life balance- is a lie there is none. Senior management they are useless they do not do anything for anyone unless its for the corporate office. Culture and values- they promote it but don't follow it....

Pros

- 9/80 schedule if you want it - Decent benefits - Manager and coworkers were great

Cons

- Insane metrics driven environment that got very cutthroat over the last few months. Very stressful to be a part of. They preach a work/life balance but the metrics required of you each week do not echo that. - cold calling - don’t take this job if you aren’t prepared to call/show up to the same people/companies over and over asking for their business. You are either wired for this, or you aren’t. - kind of a weird, cult-like company culture at times but that’s the least of the issues

Roth Staffing Response

We're happy to see that you checked "yes" to having a positive outlook on your time as an employee at Roth and that you approve of the CEO. We also love hearing you enjoyed your manager and coworkers - and not surprised given that Roseville, CA has a great team. You are absolutely correct that the metrics can feel overwhelming if the required activity level is not in alignment with the pace you are most comfortable working within. We hope you felt that the metrics allowed you to quickly determine if you would feel positioned to succeed within your role at the organization. You hopefully also felt that the metrics were continuously reviewed by the senior leadership team and adjusted to ensure that all coworkers could achieve them. Yes, cold calling is certainly part of the Business Solutions Manager role - you either love networking and introducing yourself to new contacts, or you don't. Thank you for sharing your feedback on your experience at Roth - we hope you were able to build some lifelong relationships with the great people in the Roseville office.

Pros

There are so many fabulous, amazing, honest, hard-working people working for the company that put their heart and sole into it. The company genuinely gives back to the community.

Cons

The leadership talks about the mission, vision and values, and expects everyone to follow it. It is nearly like a religion, but most of the leadership do not follow it themselves. Many of the thought processes, communications and expectations of coworkers are so unrealistic and there is such a lack of constructive support from the leadership overall, that it is truly remarkable that anything actually ever gets done.
