Pros

Great company led training Work/Life balance

Cons

Local managers have no respect for upper management. Upper management is continually mocked and ridiculed until they are in the branch. The lack of respect carries over and has a dramatic impact on morale and dedication. Branch training is not efficient, beneficial or in line with corporate directives. Staff is continually told to ignore corporate mandates and follow local directives instead of adhering to company direction. This causes misalignment, confusion and low morale. Management (at all levels locally) is very condescending and dismissive when it comes time to discuss real problems. Extremely high turnover happens for a reason. It is time to stop blaming staff and recognizing it is the local leadership. I saw too many hard-working people who loved what they do leave this company because of the poor leadership at the branch and brand level.

We did agree to allow Glassdoor to request reviews. Glassdoor makes a valid point in doing so... they believe that people considering a job offer from our company want to hear what it's like to work here from actual current employees. That is why we allowed Glassdoor to email coworkers and ask them to consider writing an anonymous review telling potential employees their perspective of why they decided to work at Roth Staffing and what they like best and least. We believe that it results in genuine ratings, not fake ratings. We know that Roth was not a good fit for you, we know that you had an opportunity to sit one on one with an executive leader and share your frustrations, and we sincerely wish you the best of luck at your new workplace.

Worst Manager Ever in San Antonio. Micromanager who does not know how to lead, train or develop.

Our leadership and corporate coworkers contact each and every branch regularly and we welcome coworkers to share their concerns when contacted by any member of the management team of corporate leadership. But it would be inappropriate to call each branch and ask "is it really okay where you are?" That would make for an awkward situation on both parts, in addition to the fact that all coworkers work in open areas and would likely not feel comfortable to discuss any work culture concerns they are experiencing. Instead, we survey every single coworker and commit to reading every single sentence of feedback. We over-communicate and over-stress the extreme importance of the survey. It is your opportunity to give us frank feedback on how things are going for you personally. You can even reveal issues at the branch level so that we can address them without revealing who you are (but still making it known that there is a local issue to address). We're very sorry about your experience and truly appreciate the feedback you provided.
