Pros

Upper Management seems to be very caring and organized. Just wish they looked a bit closer at people in important positions in the different markets.

Cons

The favoritism is out of control in Woodland Hills, CA. If you don't speak Spanish, don't expect to feel like you fit in. Rules are different for everyone. If Management spent less time Micro Managing everyone it may feel more cohesive. Everyone is afraid of her wrath. I've been in Staffing for many years and this was really the worst experience of my life. Live and learn.

Pros

On the surface we seem to be the ideal staffing company to work for. A company that cares about their employees, ambassadors and clients is not too common in our industry.

Cons

Unrealistic to think a two person branch can be successful, each person is a Recruiter/Sales Account Manager/Branch Manager and Admin. The metrics defined by those who "ran a desk" a LONG time ago. A lot goes into our job other than the obvious and answering the phone while conducting interviews or doing sales calls is rude. Clients and ambassadors are feeling the pinch. Stop being cheap and invest in the branches.

Pros

Excellent mission vision and values statement, and some branches have managers that actually follow it. They don't require a minimum amount of placements but if you don't get at least one to two direct hires a month, you will hear about it.

Cons

The upper management does not walk the talk. They make decisions that are not necessarily good for every division yet they are adamant that everyone do as they say, all the while, saying they empower you to make decisions. They require that the BM be a member of the team which makes it virtually impossible to grow. Two people are not enough for an office3.
