In the end it’s going to be lower but with better culture and work/life balance probably. - upper level management decision making speed can be slow. Some important decisions kept on being put off, such as our remote work policy, which was unhelpful in retaining some great people who wanted answers. Some other organizational processes were also, slowly, being improved at the time I left. - It feels a little too late for the DEI strategies they’re willing to use. As others have said, management is not very diverse, and it’s difficult to suddenly fix this by hiring. We should have started a more diverse funnel ages ago and promoted some more talent internally.
