      Pros

      The shorter (10 hour) shifts are really nice. The EMTs were my favorite part - getting to know each other, making connections as career networkers and also as friends was great.

      Cons

      You're not guaranteed getting off at the scheduled time - depending if you're in the middle of a patient transport or you get a late call to transport.

      Pros

      Fellow EMT's are great and some of the supervisors too. Get to meet those who work in the 911 system.

      Cons

      You get ran without breaks or lunches. I was told multiple times that what I thought or needed was not important.

      Pros

      -Incredibly supportive of your goals -Is willing to provide you constant training when/if needed -Majority of the rigs are new and all are well stocked for any call -Absolutely awesome work environment -Well thought out new hire training -Professionalism & fun from the bottom to the top and from the top to the bottom I would not be surprised if Royal is soon to get the 911 bid.

      Cons

      -Pay is barely enough to support yourself without a second income or a ton of extra shifts That's all the cons I've got. Royal is one of my favorite jobs so far.
