Pros

The best reason to work at Royal is the Employees. Royal has some of the best people to ever work with. Having fun while doing the job you like is a great feeling.

Cons

The downside to any Ambulance company is being held over past end of shift, but that just comes with the job.

Pros

You get great experience with Pt's as well as the ALS providers in the county. PT's really do look forward to seeing you and dealing with those in the field. Our judgement is trusted, especially when it comes to upgrading calls to ALS or code 3.

Cons

Lack of a night supervisor, especially on weekends where its mostly newer EMTs Lack of VST's at night, especially when the supplies are locked up.

Pros

Night crew had a great atmosphere and people really do wanna help you advance your career and help the people that call.

Cons

IFT transport gets boring and SNF's in the area try to take advantage of us and call us for calls that the pt's need medics for.
