Pros

It was previously a positive experience; however, it has since shifted toward a more corporate healthcare model for profit but still classified as non-profit for tax break.

Cons

Many of the experienced and highly regarded clinicians have since left. There has been increasing pressure for clinicians to see a higher volume of patients within shorter time frames, with little regard for clinician well-being or work-life balance. As a result, the organizational culture has become increasingly unhealthy to the point it is very toxic, with decisions being made by leadership that lack clinical insight and do not meaningfully support either patient care or staff.
