Pros

Good pay, some jobs are very easy to do.

Cons

Terrible hours. When they're running 3 shifts, you can have mandatory 12 hour shifts dropped on you when you have one last hour to go. As well, all forklift drivers are automatic tugger/tow-motor drivers, don't be surprised if they put you on one. They're 3 types of material handlers, Forklift driver, tow-motor driver, and kitter. All 3 are paid at the same rate (barring shift differences). ARO's are the companies version of a floater, intended to fill empty positions on the team. However what happens is an ARO can be stuck on the same job for months, and some team members become ARO in spirit, (but not in paycheck) because they'll eventually learn all the jobs on their team, and be treated as a floater. Bare in mind that Ryder is under contract with GM, so if GM factories run on saturdays or sundays, you'll be working too.
