Pros

Decent pay, good benefit package, worked a lot of hours with some great people. Upper level management did not seem to care about the shop workers

Upper management was not good.

Too many baby boomers making decisions

Pros

Ok work/balance. We received company lunch from time to time

Cons

The company pays for people not for talent. Not a great place to work if you aren't a GenXer or a Baby Boomer. The environment is dry, and creativity is not encouraged. With Ryerson being a private company, it's really not much you can expect from the company.
