Pros

Great work life balance. At 4:59, computers shut down and everyone files out of the building subsequently. They invested in education. ie paying for all planning staff to earn their APIC CPIM certification on company time and dime.

Cons

One of the most boring jobs I've ever had. I was working in a silo, in my department with interaction with other departments only if I initiated it.

Pros

Leader in the industry Ryerson Academy is a great training platform for new-hire, commercial employees Embrace positive change, encourage open communication Re-establishing a confident sales culture

Cons

Most middle management is great. Some micro manage and are too results driven, often driving with a whip as opposed to leading with a carrot. Company-wide downsizing a few years back - there is too much work for employees to complete effectively. Constant pressure to produce more results with less. Poorly structure incentive program - bonuses are scarce and small
