Pros

Job is a single person operation. Cut each piece to spec. and label. Build each kit as directed in writing. I work by myself with very little supervision, which is the best part. We take our 30 minute break and we don't have to clock out for it. Breaks are not monitored, yet as a professional it shouldn't be taken advantage of or it could be changed by management. We have free coffee and in the summer when it's hot we can take a break to cool down as needed. But we must be efficient and put out quality work with as many pieces possible. We can leave the plant to go get our lunch which is awesome of Ryerson. Job is 3-11,2nd shift. No weekend work. Has 401k and quarterly bonuses. They pay a big portion of your boot allotment. Pay is great

Cons

Must get piece quota each night and it's 2nd shift, so not much social life or family time.
