Pros

1) The direction the company is taking is exciting. 2) If you are an asset to the company; they find a way to keep you around 3) People are willing to help you learn and there are advancement opportunities if you put in the extra effort. Things are not handed to you, but the grind has always been rewarding.

Cons

1) You can make more money if you go somewhere else 2) Metals isn't flashy or exciting

Pros

Ryerson treats employees fairly and therefore the retention rate is high. Great upper management team who makes you feel as if you work with them not under them.

Cons

Too many crossovers in sales territories so you feel like you step on toes at times while trying to do the best job you can for the company.
