Pros

Good benefits, vacation time after 6 months, casual dress code, okay bonuses.

Cons

Ryerson is a great company to work for... if you are in the sales department. This is a sales driven company. Any other department will get overlooked especially the operations and procurement departments. Management doesn't teach anything. You learn yourself. Problems are addressed, but never fixed. Hard to move up the ladder unless you want to join the academy.

Pros

Decent training program Will show you the ropes

Cons

Do not expect to get anywhere unless you went to Ryerson Academy. Even if you are outperforming them, they will be treated better.
