Cons

No 401k match, weak employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) that encourages you to contribute your own funds, small bonuses for middle management, and no medical until one month into starting work.

Our ESOP is designed to make a meaningful long-term impact, and we’d like to clarify that employees do not need to contribute their own funds to participate. Company contributions are automatic; any personal contributions are entirely optional and simply provide an additional investment choice.

S&ME provides ESOP contributions, allowing employees to share directly in the company’s long-term growth, without having to contribute their own money. The value of the ESOP is tied to the overall success of the company, which can create a meaningful long-term retirement benefit often beyond a standard 401K match.
