      Amazing company to work for!

      Pros

      Coming from a retail branch, I began my employment with S3 in March of 2015 as a representative in the contact center. The atmosphere and environment created by S3 cultivated my inner need to help people with their financial needs while not being micromanaged or placed under pressure with intense sales goals to meet and exceed. Management was always willing to answer questions and advise on the proper way to speak to a member. The potential for growth is OUTSTANDING at S3. There are a number of avenues that a person can branch out to from starting as a contact representative. Ample time off for vacations and sick leave are provided, and the company continuously offers outreach/"fun" programs within the office to keep morale high. This is the perfect company to come to if you are looking to relocate from a financial institution.

      Cons

      Consistency among SOPs and processes leads a small number of new employees to feel overwhelmed and unprepared to serve the members. Training needs to include appropriate ways to speak with members by phone and email.

      Pros

      It a cool place to work especially if you are just starting your banking career. Just make sure you apply yourself and read the SOP's. This is still a young company with a lot if growth potentials.

      Cons

      Things can be bias. People sometimes show favoritism. To move around in the company can be difficult. Management need to undergo more training. Lack of experienced management.

      Pros

      S3 is a great place to work if you are seeking an employer who will take an active role in your future. Senior Management does a great job of laying out career paths for their employees, and more importantly they work with you to achieve your goals. They offer cross training opportunities and provide frequent feedback to ensure you are on the path to success. What I like most about S3 is having a voice. Suggestions are encouraged for everything from processes and procedures to employee events. They clear the runway for employees to lead projects and gain exposure to multiple areas. They offer quality benefits, an onsite gym, a respectable time off policy and regular bank holidays.

      Cons

      There are few downsides to S3. They are quick to identify areas of improvement and address them.
