Pros

SAIC started out as a "science" company, but that's long gone, so no PROs!

Cons

1) Company is an overgrown body shop. 2) Company AGGRESSIVELY blacklists former employees to other companies. 3) Your job lasts as long as your contract unless you are VERY well connected. 4) Company has a poor image due to poor management.

Pros

- To get a paycheck

Cons

- If you aren't in a leadership role or management you can count on being treated poorly. - You can't go to HR, they only care about the interests of the company and will only serve to make things worse for you. - No communication from leadership, constantly doing the same tasks over and over because people can't decide how they want something done. - Employees are treated very poorly. - Seems to be a culture of nasty language and a lack of professionalism. - Little to no ability to advance unless you know someone. - Unless you are mid or upper level, pay raises are close to non-existent. - Constantly have to worry about your peers stepping on you because they are as fearful of keeping their positions as you are of keeping yours. - The benefits continue to grow smaller and smaller, especially when you take into account the lack of proper raises.

Pros

Standard compensations. Good work environment. Work is very rewarding.

Cons

Company will let you go when you're usefulness and/or contract are over. No real help finding other positions within company. Company not interested in holding on to experienced and good people.
